COMINAYAAHAA.

in the words of jack black in saving silverman, "COMINAYAAHAA!" i say this but only because it is a dedication to an amazing person. James Zachary Forsey was born 27 years ago today. happy birthday brother. i hate to pick a favorite sibling but without a doubt today he wins the best brother award. why you may ask? a few reasons i shall share with you.
1. he is probably the funniest person i know.
2. together we invented the laugh party. best invention ever.
3. he comes up with the greatest nicknames ever.
4. he says whatever he thinks. honesty is the best policy.
5. he loves and respects our parents, whether he agrees with them or not.
6. he is a friggin doctor now. aka dedication and work ethic is undeniable.
7. he laughs at my jokes.
8. his love for his wife is evident. i hope to find someone that will treat me like he treats jamie.
9. we love him because he brought jamie to our family and without her something wouldn't be right.
10. even though we didn't always get along, now i consider him one of my greatest friends. and he is a pretty great friend to have.
so here's to zachy, james, zenus, z on his special day. i love you brother.

always gonna be another mountain.

so i might have watched the hannah montanna movie today...and loved it. don't hate. but it totally got me to thinking. as gay as the song "the climb" is, i love it. it is just so true. and there is nothing i love more than a song i feel like i can relate to. lately i feel like life has thrown me a lot of stuff. but the worst part is that it hasn't been just me. my family has gone through a lot just since Christmas. i know everyone has their own trials but the difference is now i am old enough to be asked to deal with them. this song says it all. the journey is the destination.

another one bites the dust.

Another week down. Week 2 and 3 of camp were a complete success. i know i complain but on the whole i can say it was really fun. Below is a picture of me and a couple of the girls.

Girls from Intermediate Camp

They weren’t very good during week 2 but they tried so hard and so I was really proud of them. Week 3 was a little bit better and twenty times funnier. I am going to post some pictures when the girls e-mail them to me. it was fun because I totally remember a few of the kids from last year. I give all the boys a hard time for the week but they are so cute. I had like at least a dozen of them come and ask me to sign their t-shirt or their golf balls. Definitely a confidence booster. :D not to mention that will probably be the only time in my life that someone will ask for my autograph. these girls were so fun though. Kind of bums me out that I probably won’t be doing camps anymore. I just need to come to the realization that it will be time for me to get a grown up job next summer. Anyways…I can’t believe I am leaving to go home for the rest of the summer. I don’t think I am ready yet…for the golf extravaganza or for the saying bye to my people part. The rest of the summer could be crazy. I can't wait to see what it holds!

I do not hook up.

camp is finally over. thank goodness. it was a very long week which i am finishing off by blogging on a friday night. love my life. so you might be wondering how this post relates to the title. yesterday jordan asked me to accompany him to the kelly clarkson concert at UVU. it was really fun. the concert was pretty short though. it rained for the first couple songs and after there was the prettiest rainbow i have ever seen! jordan and i were with his cousin and her finance'...they were so cute and so nice! it has been such a long time since i have been on a date so it was really nice. i love when boys treat you like they should. the fact that i have known jordan for a year and a half makes everything so easy when we are together. after the concert we went to jordan's to finish watching the Magic/Lakers game. the night was really so fun. we laughed and cuddled and that was enough for me. just like Kelly says "i do not hook up, i go slow."

life can be a tricky thing.

today i think the title speaks for itself. life has been very funny lately...funny probably isn't the right word but today Brady and i decided that sometimes all you can do is laugh. she has definitely shown me that you have to be an optimist and look for the positive in every situation. within the past week both Nik and B have lost their jobs due to circumstances that were out of their control. kind of sucky situations if you ask me. since, Nik and Ava packed everything up and moved to CA to live with Nik's g-ma in hopes to find jobs. B actually only lost her job today but has had such a great attitude about it. it always seems to be that things happen for a reason. we shall cling to this logic in hopes of its truth.

on a different/happier note i am so happy for my bestest friend in the whole wide world, Lyn Lyn. it seems to be that she has found "like" in Paris while studying abroad. i have seen a few pics and to say the least i was slightly jealous. i really hope that things work out for her because she deserves it more than anyone i know.

speaking of boys i feel like i should be honest with the current lack of love in my life. within the past week i have rekindled two relationships. in that same week, both have once again fizzled. to make this horribly long story short i have realized that i really do deserve more. i deserve to be someones priority. their first choice. i shouldn't have to play back up to anyone. i will not settle. this is a promise i am making to myself. i recently found this quote and i fell in love with it. of course it was given by none other than the prophet, Gordan B. Hinckley.

"Girls, Aim high, but do not aim so high that you totally miss the target. What really matters is that he will love you, that he will respect you, that he will honor you, that he will be absolutely true to you, that he will give you the freedom of expression and let you fly in the development of your own talents. He is not going to be perfect, but if he is kind and thoughtful, if he knows how to work and earn a living, if he is honest and full of faith, the chances are you will not go wrong, that you will be immensely happy...True love is not so much a matter of romance as it is a matter of anxious concern for the well-being of one's companion."

i know things will happen for me. i too know that i do have to be somewhat more proactive than i am now. this is my goal. i have high hopes for the future.

I hate to say this but...

i have always said i will never be "one of those". i have fallen victim. you know what i mean? let me explain. in the beginning it was aim. everyone had a screen name and it was the thing to do. then myspace came along. i said i would never be one of those. i fell victim. then facebook came out and was way less creepy. again i feel victim. i have always said i would never be a blogger but it seems again i have fallen victim. i thought the reason i wouldn't blog is because i have nothing to blog about. well i have recently reevaluated my life and realized that it has reality tv show capability. the drama in college is unreal. it is a love/hate relationship. and i don't want to forget a beat. i have always wanted to be someone that was really good at writing in their journal but i have never been able to master the task. this is my alternative. i have no one to impress. we have always been told that these are the best years of our lives. well i have never agreed with anything more. so here's to the journey. this is me, like it or not.
