the end of an era.

today was my last day of college. no more classes. no more tanner building. no more illegally parking on campus. only one more paper. only one more test. only 9 more days until graduation. i'm excited. stressed. and scared out of my mind. i'm supposed to be a grown up but i don't know what i am doing with my life. this is a serious dilemma. luckily i have two, hopefully three, interviews tomorrow and another one on monday. i have a call about another job that i need to return as well. i am excited to be seeing positive feedback from the applications filled and resumes sent out. nonetheless, i need to do some serious soul searching this next week. where do i want to live? what do i want to do with my life? suggestions are welcomed.

so, i know that everything will work out. what is meant to be will happen. whitty played a song for us while me, her, and kris worked away today. it hit all of us kind of hard. "and i found that round here, in this city, that i won't disappear, in this city. i got nothing to fear, in this city." i know where "this city" ends up being, it will be for the best. right?

a good excuse to party.

i'm not going to pretend that i care a ton about sports but big sporting events give great excuses to throw parties. with the super bowl, that is just what we did.
how cute is my football cake?

unfortunately, my camera got into the wrong hands -- so, no good pictures were taken. anyways, like i said, i won't pretend that i liked one of the teams but i do looourve lil wayne's green and yellow. here for your listening enjoyment.

go girl. it's your birthday.

miss bacciocco is 23 today. i have been sleeping 5 feet from this woman for the past year and a half. we have been through some amazing times. i know if i ever needed anything that she would be there for me in a second. she is the queen of music, sports, and shopping. don't challenge her because you will not win. B--today is your day.

circa March 2008. only a few months after we became roomies for the first time
i know how much you hate birthdays but i hope this is one for the books. XoXo

back to school.

today is my last first day of school. this is scary but very exciting. today i am not actually going to school because of the lack of motivation that accompanies the use of crutches and a cast. nothing good really happens on the first day anyways. it is funny to think that 4 and 1/2 years have past since i moved to provo. oh my, good times have definitely been had. i think it would be only appropriate for this to be the. best. semester. ever.

the candy cane has arrived.

surgery was a success and so was the trek home. i believe i owe my sister big time. she was my personal care taker until the mama could take over. i don't feel too bad though. she was able to witness me and in my supposed, funniest state ever. i sang a solo. i talked about people i would marry and i demanded head massages. not to mention, i repeated everything three times over. the best part of it all is that i consented a red and white striped cast. you cannot deny my zeal for getting with the christmas spirit.

please try not to be distracted by my beauty.
